This filter displays today’s volume as a ratio compared to the float. This is a metric that is often looked at by intraday and shorter-term swing traders to gauge a particularly large turnover in share ownership. In instances where a stock trades multiples of its float, it is common to also see a higher daily volume than typical. It is found by dividing the volume of today by the float. In the event a float is unavailable, this filter will return a null value.
